The Alabama Arts Trail stemmed from the belief that art enriches everyone, and therefore should be accessible to all. The Trail was created to outline statewide journeys that connect locals and visitors alike to our vibrant artistic community.

The Trail is sponsored by the Alabama Visual Arts Network (ALVAN), a champion of Alabama’s artists since 1968. ALVAN is committed to raising awareness and appreciation of the visual arts, and the role it plays in the economic vitality and quality of life for every Alabamian.
