Sloss Furnace/Sloss Metal Arts

$0.00

Sloss Furnaces operates one of the largest iron arts programs in the World, dedicated to iron and bronze casting as an art form that honors the industry upon which Birmingham was built.
We provide opportunities and educational resources for artists and the Birmingham community including the biennial National Cast Iron Conference, artist residency programs, public workshops and classes, and youth apprenticeship programs. We strive to establish an inclusive and accessible hub for metal-based art and practices, creating a space that celebrates artists and preserves the metalworking heritage in Birmingham.

Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark
